What is it?
Know Sweat is a program by CIY (Christ in Youth), attended by hundreds of youth groups each year.
The core of the trip is a service project, which our group will do together. But another really important part is that while we do our work, we allow God to do his work on us.
Every morning we’ll do some devos, make our lunches, have breakfast, and then head to our worksite. During the day we’ll work on our project, eat lunch, and have a blast! Then when we arrive back at the University, we’ll get cleaned up and have some fun free time before supper. After supper each evening we’ll spend time worshiping with a ton of other youth groups, then hear a message from an awesome speaker, and later break out into our youth group time to talk about our day and what we’ve been learning. Then it’s back to the dorms for some more hang out time before lights out!
It’ll be amazingly awesome!
Who’s it for?
All NOPOYO middle school and high school kids looking for an awesomely fun-having, totally life-changing, and incredibly friendship-building summer trip.
You definitely, seriously, really don’t want to miss this trip. Just ask someone who has been before.
When & Where?
June 20th – 24th.
Meet at the church at 10am, Monday June 20th. We will have a short parent meeting, then load up and head out!
We’ll be returning June 24th, at around 2:30pm. We’ll have kids start calling parents as we get closer to Lewisville to let you know more specifically what time to pick up kids.
We’re going to Tulsa, Oklahoma, and will be staying on campus at Oral Roberts University, with many other church youth groups.
How much?
$375, if registered before May 15th.
$400, if registered after.
To register, fill out the forms in the packet, turn them in with the initial registration fee of $100, and your spot is secured!
June 6th is the absolute registration deadline! We can’t accept new registrations after June 6th!
Wait, I don’t understand the money/registration thing…
No problem! Here’s the whole thing broken down:
- May15th – $100 non-refundable deposit and forms due.
Any money or forms turned in after May 15th will be subject to a $25 late fee. - June 6th – $169 non-refundable payment due (or $269 if you missed the May 15th deadline and haven’t paid any money yet)
Absolutely non-negotiable. The first two payments cover CIY’s fees, which means we can’t budge. If you want to go on the trip, you have to meet this payment deadline. We will be unable to accept new registrations after June 6th. - June 20th – $106 non-refundable final payment due (or $131 if you missed the May 15th deadline)
- For a grand total of $375 (or $400 if you missed the May 15th deadline)

Do you what time you guys are leaving on Monday the 20th? I might need help getting Joey to church that morning, depending on the time.
Joey should be at the church no later than 10am. We’ll have a short parent meeting, load up, and get on the road!
